Abstract

The promising advantage of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is limited byartifacts due to the presence of metallic materials such as dental crowns, dental implants and metallic orthodontic appliances. Artifacts results in degraded image quality which compromises evaluation of images impossible in some cases. This  article analyses the influence of different dental materials on MRI.
