Abstract
This article analyses the existing financial laws in Mauritius pertaining to global business in Mauritius. It takes into account the various business failures that the country has witnessed and attempts at analysing the failures in view of the effectiveness of the laws. The role of the Financial Services Commission is assessed in view of determining its impact and responsibilities in global business failures
