This paper focuses on parent-student relationship, student's development, and social skill. Using random sampling method, around 65 students age 18-19 years old will be given two types of questionnaires to measure the social skill and parent-student development. The main objective of this research is to investigate the relationship between parent-student relationship and social skills. Roughly observed, student that practices a good relationship with their parents tends to stand out more in public and have good social skills. As a conclusion, this research is to prove the hypothesis which is a good parent-student relationship result in a good student's development in social skills and to prove that there is a relationship between student's development in social skills and student's relationship with parents.

A nation that cannot feed her citizens effectively is facing a very big global economic challenge. This was one of the reasons why UN inculcated food security measure as one of the 2003 MDG goals for the developing countries before 2015 target years. Nigerians economic down turn started when agricultural economy was neglected and attention was given to crude oil economy as the major export of the country’s economy. The paper therefore discussed women  empowerment, importance of agriculture to Nigerian economy and the need for women empowerment in agriculture. The paper also highlighted strategies  for women empowerment, demerits of not empowering women and challenges confronting  women farmers in Nigeria.

The paper recommends an immediate action to empower women farm with enough financial and material support for women farmers in Nigeria

The purpose of this study is to understand the factors that cause outsourcing system not in accordance with the content of the work agreement regarding the term of the employment contract. Trade Unions, where in practice are outsourcing workers, are unclear about the function and role of trade unions in the company.
