The results of research show that SSCS + MS learning model increases the students’ metacognitive skills, with an increase of 25.58% higher than that of the SSCS learning model and 67.33% higher than that of the traditional learning. These research findings indicate that the SSCS + MS learning model has the biggest potential in empowering students’ metacognitive skills compared to the two other learnings. Based on these findings, teachers need to implement SSCS + MS learning model to empower student’s metacognitive skills.
